My 30th Birthday was last week and I felt incredibly blessed to have wonderful friends and family and a celebratory husband. The morning was relaxing and I went to lunch with Amy Lacey, immediately followed by a little shopping downtown Portland. When I came home, David had me get ready for Happy Hour at The Nines, a fabulous hotel downtown with delicious calamari. After Happy Hour, we returned home to find all our friends and neighbors at the house. David put together a little surprise gathering, which was followed by country dancing at a place called Bushwhackers.
A couple days later we left Portland for Sun River, where we met up with my family and stayed at our friends cabin. We spent our mornings lingering by the fire and playing games. David took us for a tour of Bend, which is always informative. J
We celebrated our first anniversary on Sunday, October 11th. My parents brought the top of our wedding cake, so David and I re-enacted the cutting of the cake (sorta funny). It makes me laugh to see my belly in these pics. I can’t believe how much has happened in the last year. Time flies, but there has been a ton of monumental events that make it feel like we’ve been married for years. I’m happy to report, we still love each other after one year. J
David and I stopped at the start of the Metolius River- it just starts from a spring in the mountain. Pretty neat!

Great pictures - you look really, really fabulous! And happy anniversary by the way! I had the date on my callendar but forgot to say it on the 11th. Happy one year!!!
ReplyDeleteAmber! I love these pics! It almost brings to me to tears to see all these blessings! I'm so excited that you and Meagan are having a baby at the same time. I was thinking of you all on your anniversary & I meant to call. Congratulations! Love you so much.
