At the US WWII cemetery in St. Arvold on Memorial Day. The man in the sash is the mayor of St. Arvold and MP, the US Navy Officer is Admiral Gallagher (the number 2 of European Command) and the rest are other dignitaries who lead the ceremony honoring the 10,489 soldiers buried here at this cemetery. It was a very moving ceremony, in a beautiful location in the east of France near the German border.

There was 1 US and 1 French flag in front of each of the gravestones.

My nephew, Levi, and I after a run on the River Tube in Saarbrucken, Germany. I think the water park was a highlight for both Amber and me!
