Update on Life

It's been awhile and I'm not sure where to start. Let's see, David has been gone for the past week and we've really missed him, but he is doing amazing work and we are proud of him. Plus, we have had the opportunity to spend time with my parents, who are great for coming to be with us and help out. A double plus, my sister arrives tomorrow night with her youngest son, Ian and we'll hangout until David comes home Sunday. Woohoo!

I suppose the most exciting news is Charlie has started walking. He is almost 15 months and he is a little gem. I really think he'll be a wonderful brother to the baby girl inside of me! I don't know if I have even blogged about the fact that we are having a girl! She is due July 30th and we're very excited to meet her and have her in the family.

In the next year, we'll have a lot of transition. Most likely, we'll get a minivan, we'll move to a house with more land and rooms and we'll have a baby. Yikes. Of course, this is all speculative, but it's in the plans as of now.

A couple months ago, I started a part time job. I'm not sure I have blogged about working. It has it's upsides and downsides. One, I love using my mind in a different capacity and engaging with the business world. Two, I love the organization- Incight. We help people with disabilities to find jobs and internships. This Thursday we have a Career Fair that I've helped put together. Should be good.

The hard part of a job is leaving Charlie. It's so hard. And finding child care is a pain. Overall, I've discovered I like staying at home full-time and I am thankful this job is temporary.
