A Good Morning For Amber

Last night, Charlie was in his crib for 12 hours. Notice, I didn't write "slept for 12 hours". This is because he was awake from 4-4:30am playing and talking to himself. Then, David put a passy in and re-swaddled him at which time he fell asleep again. He woke up at 6:45am, which is fairly normal.

Every morning, I bring him in to bed and nurse him laying down. After nursing, I put him in the middle of David and I and he coos and plays with us. It's one of our favorite times of day with him. This morning we played for about 45 mins, then took David to work. After dropping him off, Charlie fell asleep in the car, so I decided to stop by Rite Aid with my sleeping baby. I REALLY scored with Coupons this morning.

Here are some of my deals:

Huggies- 2 packs- 2.98 (reg.11.99)
Huggies Swimmers- 2.98 (9.49)
Cottonelle 20 pk -$8.50 (reg. $17.99)
Johnsons Baby lotion (2)- .99 each (reg 4.29-5.29)
Mabelline Mascara- 3.29 (reg. 7.89)

These are all things we needed, so I am super happy to have gotten such great deals.

After Rite-Aid, I started laundry, showered, fed Charlie and hosted Mom's group and made breakfast for us! So fun! What a morning! Now, I must pack for DC and Chico- two of my favorite places.

Woohoo!

Thanks for letting me gloat about my coupon deals. :)

Today was beautiful. We layed out on the front lawn.

The tulips in our yard are beautiful. Sad to leave the blossoming flowers.

  2. Oh man! I have such fond memories of laying on the front lawn with my babies!! Then watching them on tricycles, then roller blades, and one day Mary was totally naked on a scooter in front of your house!! Those are the sweetest memories!!
